Overview
A grid manager with hard limits, not an autopilot
Atlas Grid Manager is a MetaTrader 5 utility for traders who use grid or averaging techniques deliberately and want the terminal to enforce the limits they have already decided on. It does not pick direction. You choose the symbol, the direction and the anchor price; Atlas places the pending orders at your chosen spacing, tracks the combined basket, and closes everything at a target or at a hard stop that you cannot forget to set because the panel refuses to start without one.
Building a grid
From the chart panel you set the direction, the spacing between levels in points or as an ATR multiple, the number of levels, the lot size for each level and whether lots stay constant or increase by a fixed step. Atlas shows the total exposure and the worst-case loss at the basket stop before you press Start, and it blocks the grid if the worst-case loss exceeds the percentage of equity you have allowed. Pending orders are placed as limit orders in the direction of your anchor; Atlas does not place both buy and sell grids at once.
Managing the basket
Once orders start filling, the panel displays the basket's average price, floating profit and distance to both the basket target and the basket stop. The target can be a fixed amount in account currency, a percentage of balance, or a price level; the stop is always a price level plus an equity-based emergency close that fires if slippage carries the basket beyond the planned loss. Atlas can trail the basket target once the basket is in profit, and it can remove unfilled levels when the basket reaches half its target so a late reversal does not add exposure.
Restarts and other Expert Advisors
Atlas saves its state to the terminal's files folder after every change and rebuilds the panel on restart, reattaching to existing orders by magic number. It only manages orders carrying its own magic number, so other Expert Advisors on the same account are untouched. A one-click Flatten button closes the basket and deletes pending levels at market, and a global Pause stops new levels from being placed without touching open positions.
Delivered files
The archive contains AtlasGridManager.ex5, three example grid templates (tight, standard and wide spacing) saved as panel profiles, and a PDF that walks through a full grid life cycle on a demo account, including what happens when the stop is hit. Updates are included for the lifetime of the product.
Why the limits matter
Grid strategies fail when exposure grows faster than the trader intended in a one-way market. Atlas is built so that the maximum loss is visible and fixed before the first order is placed. It cannot make a grid profitable, and it does not prevent a stop from being hit at a worse price during a gap. The demo record below shows a sample of grids run on a demo account with the standard template; it is labelled as sample data and describes the utility's behaviour, not an expected return.

Questions
Can Atlas run a buy grid and a sell grid at the same time?
No. One instance manages one direction on one symbol. You can attach a second instance to another chart of the same symbol with a different magic number if you deliberately want both, but the vendor's guide explains why that doubles your exposure.
What happens if the terminal restarts mid-grid?
Atlas writes its state after every change. On restart it reads the file, finds its orders by magic number, and continues supervising the basket stop and target. The panel shows a Restored label for the first minute.
Does it work with the Titan Prop close-all?
Yes. Titan's optional close-all across magic numbers will close an Atlas basket, and Atlas then marks the grid as closed externally and stops placing levels.
Support
Meridian Trading Tools supports Atlas through marketplace tickets, typically within one business day. Attach the saved state file from MQL5/Files/AtlasGrid and the Experts log when reporting a problem with a running grid.
Risk
Trading carries risk
Grid and averaging techniques can accumulate large positions quickly and produce losses that exceed a single trade's stop many times over. Atlas Grid Manager enforces the limits you configure but cannot prevent losses caused by gaps, slippage, disconnection or the choice of a grid that is too aggressive for the account. It does not generate trading decisions and offers no assurance of profit. The demo record shown is sample data from a demo account and describes behaviour only.
Trading foreign exchange, metals, indices and other leveraged products carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Past performance, backtests and demo results do not guarantee future results. Automated trading software can lose money quickly, especially with leverage. Only trade with capital you can afford to lose, test every tool on a demo account first, and seek independent financial advice if you are unsure. Nothing on this website is investment advice.
