MT4 accounts are hedging accounts by design, so strategies that hold opposing positions or manage baskets of orders behave predictably here. The platform's single-currency tester is slower than MT5's, which is why the vendors in this category publish ready-made .set files instead of expecting you to optimise from scratch. All MT4 tools listed below were tested on build 1380 or later; older terminals should be updated through your broker's installer first.
